From a young age, Juan Manuel Silva knew he was called to the practice of law. Witnessing the struggles of those around him helped him foster a profound understanding of how legal advocacy can shape lives, families, and futures. That foundation instilled in him a lasting commitment to justice and accountability, principles that continue to define his approach to every case.

Attorney Silva earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with highest honor, from Georgia State University, with a minor in Psychology. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a case manager at an Atlanta law firm, where he helped people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. This experience helped define his purpose to help those in need through empathy, hard work, and effective legal advocacy.

He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree, with honor, from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Attorney Silva participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic at the Western Circuit Public Defender’s Office, where he actively litigated cases under attorney supervision. There, he honed the trial skills, discipline, and judgment that remain central to his practice today. His work earned him the Outstanding Legal Defense Clinic Student Award.

After law school, Attorney Silva practiced general litigation at a Decatur based law firm, handling matters including business and contract disputes, premises liability, criminal defense, and personal injury cases. Over time, he developed experience in high stakes insurance litigation, including cases where injured individuals faced well-funded companies defending claims aggressively and strategically.

Attorney Silva has often been sought by fellow lawyers seeking guidance on certain, often complex, legal matters. He has also been invited to lecture other attorneys on trial topics as part of their continuing legal education.

Attorney Silva strives to provide legal services based on the conviction that every client deserves high quality legal representation, regardless of background, language, or circumstance. (Proverbs 31:8-9). Through his work, he remains committed to providing strategic and compassionate advocacy, especially when clients are facing powerful opponents and uncertain outcomes.

Fluent in English & Spanish, Attorney Silva is passionate about serving the Hispanic community and ensuring that folks from all walks of life have access to justice. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys running, playing golf, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
